Yes, I still make stuff….

It’s been a while since I posted the things I have been making from reclaimed materials.

These were some things I made recently as gifts.

A pillowcase dress from an Ikea pillowcase, and a floral dress. It has reclaimed buttons, elastic, ribbon and zips.

I actually made two of these dresses (I had a set of pillowcases) and kept one for my four year old. I want to try a couple of different versions of the pillowcase dress, so come summer, I can let you know the easiest and best ones to make.

Babooska T-shirt.

This T-shirt uses the off cuts of the pillowcase, the second-hand floral dress and a doily. The ribbon and the T-shirt are new. I also made two of these T-shirts, but had to give the white one to the four year old as I made some unrecoverable mistakes with it. I will share that adventure tomorrow.

Wrapping

….and as is becoming a habit in our house, presents wrapped in reusable (and sometimes already used) fabric and ribbon.
