Bunting for Bronte.

New room bunting made from a lace tablecloth, reclaimed yellow and blue cotton and ribbon.

Similar idea to this one I made for Sascha at a similar time a couple of years ago.

Wall hanging for Angus.

Angus’ wall hanging made from a man’s shirt, reclaimed cottons (yellow and blue) woven tape and a recycled button.

As Sue wanted them all different I went for the shirt covering the squares rather than ties… which I usually use.

A patchworked name picture for Lachlan.

Lachie’s picture is made from reclaimed men’s ties and woven cotton fabric.

….a new idea not made before.

Still working out how to photograph finished work at the new house.

Quite liking the greeniness of the fence and the corkscrew vines poking through.

Favourites anyone?

I am about to embark on a new experience for me.

I am sworn to secrecy about the site, but I will let you know all about it as soon as it is up.

Exciting times.

For the soon to arrive Felix

I posted here about some name plates I made for Jethro and Jack. Here are some, in new fabrics (part of a Christmas range actually), for some more new additions.

Calvin’s has purple stitching….

100_2969…. and Felix’s has black.

(please excuse the dodgy photos)

Well not really a baby.

We caught up today at Centennial Park. (I always forget how lovely it is there) Met my newest Nephew Jack (and gave him this), and hung out with the rest of the family.

My sister lives about 4 hours north, so we don’t see that much of each other. I had a really great relaxing time.

Here is ‘my gorgeous baby sister’ modelling a tie tag rosette. This one has a vintage bow tie as it’s base, and lots of vintage Vogue and Hollygreen labels secured with a old buckle.

She intends it for a bag that needs updating. I think it made her already spunky outfit look even better.  What do you think?

For Jethro

June 5, 2009

100_2082We are looking forward to Jethro’s one year old birthday party tomorrow. I know his parents will be too busy tonight to be blogging, but I thought I could give you a sneak preview of his pressie.

While I was at it I made one for my new nephew.

I am really pleased with the results and my kids are asking when theirs are coming. Soon I guess!
