Easter Hats

April 2, 2010

Our easter Hats for 2010

11 year olds bunny holding on in troubled times.

10 year olds asian flavoured bunnies.

An autumn inspired hat for 6 year old.

This year we had 2 aims for our easter hats.

  • spend nothing on them, but only use what we could find in the house (and yard)…. upcycling where we could.
  • try to get creative with bible verses to go with our hats.

We choose verses that spoke loudly of God’s love and care for us.

You can’t read 10 year olds in the photo. It was

Psalm 86:5

You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all who call to you.

Happy Easter everyone from our family to yours!

I LOVE IT!!! Did you hear me scream from the Central Coast hehe… I love that they cost nothing and that they look completely artsy!! I had Moo’s hat ready and pre cut for her to make this year (first time ever…woohoo) only to find out that that hat parade was for year K-2!! WHAT? and they only have 450 students. I think it was a cop out personally hehe.

ALso I forgot to thank you for Bear shirt! He loves that “H’s mum made it” and I think he actually named it but I can’t remember what it was. Thanks for coming round it was great to have familiar faces around who already knew us as a family. Even Bubble got some hugs off Tim which I thought was just precious.

Ok this is the longest post EVER and I should have emailed… Big love and happy easter to your wonderful family. Miss you like crazy!!

Hey. Thanks Steph. It was great to see you all and your new place last weekend.
Could you take a photo of Bear in his shirt for me. I made it late the night before , so didn’t get a shot of it?
      Thanks. Ally
