Soooooo easy, you could probably get the kids to try it.

One of the first things sewing teachers used to do to get the student acquainted with the sewing machine was to get them to sew lines on paper. This project is pretty much just that.

It is a winner, and as thrifty or as expensive as you like.

Try: left over scraps of fabric

Try: fancy fabrics and metallic thread

Try: Christmas fabrics

Try: the leftovers of the fabric you made their present out of

Try: fabric pieces cut from clothes you would otherwise throw away

Try: with school age children……not as decoration, but as a craft.
